An unforgettable city
Rio de Janeiro is an incredible city where urban life meets stunning nature. The energy is just fantastic. It's so easy to go from exploring the streets to relaxing on a beach. The whole setting with the mountains dropping into the sea is just beautiful.
Loved the Santa Teresa neighborhood
Visiting after Carnival was a great call. The city was lively but not overwhelming. We loved wandering Santa Teresa, with its artsy feel and winding streets. The views from up there are just incredible. A really nice part of the city to explore.
Carnival was amazing!
Rio de Janeiro during Carnival is an absolute must-see. The energy is electric, especially at the Sambadrome where the parades are mind-blowing. The whole city comes alive with music and block parties. It's a full-on sensory experience.
The views are out of this world
The nature here is breathtaking. We spent a day exploring Tijuca National Park and saw Christ the Redeemer. The sheer scale of the statue and the panoramic views from the top are hard to describe. It's definitely worth the trip up Corcovado mountain.
Perfect beach days
The beach scene is everything you'd hope for. Spent our time at Ipanema, just soaking it all in. The people-watching is fantastic and grabbing a cold açaí bowl from a kiosk is the perfect way to cool down. A really classic beach holiday.
Great city to explore
What a great city for a break. We explored a ton on foot. The Lapa Steps are so colorful and unique. The area has great little bars with tasty caipirinhas too. A place with real personality and lots to see just by walking around.
